Frequently asked questions
Modular homes are bolted to a concrete foundation. Manufactured/Hud Homes stay on the metal frame used to transport them and they are fastened to the ground with metal straps if desired. These manufactured homes will sit on concrete piers in the ground.
As long as any home built on site will. It is the same quality and same building materials as used in site built homes.
Will I have a hard time trying to sell the home later on because it’s a modular home instead of being built by a local construction builder?
It’s the same or better than the site built home next door. It will appraise the same way. Come look at at home and see for yourself.
Mortgage companies are starting to recognize the value and now offer standard 30 year mortgages. We have a list of lenders offering competitive mortgages equal to the site built home.
Our modular homes are built to the same standards as the
site built and sometimes better. You should have no issues insuring the home. It’s build to the same engineering standards a site built home.
